Cave hotels are not all built the same way
Some rooms are carved directly into volcanic rock, while others combine stone construction with older cave spaces. The experience varies from one property to another, so check the details of the hotel itself rather than assuming every property described as a “cave hotel” is the same.
Access can matter more than it looks on a map
Many cave hotels are on steep, narrow or stepped streets. A property can appear very close to the centre while still having an entrance that is difficult for a larger vehicle to reach directly.
Use the exact hotel name for your transfer
When you book an airport transfer, enter the full accommodation name rather than only the town. That helps identify the right property and the most practical pickup or drop-off point.
Ask the hotel about luggage and steps
If you have limited mobility, a pushchair or heavy luggage, ask the property whether there are outdoor steps between the vehicle stopping point and reception. This is especially useful for hillside hotels in Göreme and Uçhisar.
Airport planning
Both Kayseri and Nevsehir airports serve Cappadocia. Once your hotel is confirmed, compare the road journey from each airport as well as the flight schedule.
See Göreme Airport Transfer, Uçhisar Airport Transfer or browse the hotel-specific transfer pages if your property is listed.
