Arriving at Kayseri Airport
Kayseri Airport (ASR) is one of the two main airports used for trips to Cappadocia. Its current combined domestic and international terminal opened in February 2024, so older photos and arrival guides may show a different layout.
After landing, follow the airport signs through baggage claim and any required passport or customs procedures. Exit times vary by flight, so there is no useful fixed estimate for how long it will take to reach the arrivals area.
Meeting your airport transfer
Enter the correct flight number when you book. We use it to follow the arrival, and if the flight itself is delayed, the pickup is adjusted to the updated landing time.
Your meeting instructions are sent with the booking confirmation. Keep WhatsApp available on the number used for the reservation after landing in case you need to check the meeting point.
Current terminal facilities
DHMİ lists a cafeteria, kiosks, car-rental desks, lost-property offices, duty-free shops, airline ticket offices, baggage wrapping, a hot-drink machine and an ATM in the current terminal. Individual services and opening hours can change, so check the airport's current information if you need something specific.
How long is the transfer from Kayseri Airport?
Estimated road times are about 70-80 minutes to Göreme, 70-80 minutes to Ürgüp, 75-85 minutes to Uçhisar, 60-70 minutes to Avanos, 65-75 minutes to Çavuşin and 75-90 minutes to Ortahisar.
These are road-time estimates, not guaranteed arrival times. Traffic, weather, hotel access and additional stops on a shared shuttle can make the journey longer.
Shared shuttle or private transfer?
A shared shuttle is priced per passenger and can include other hotel stops. A private Vito or Sprinter is reserved for your party and travels without stops for unrelated shuttle passengers.
See the Kayseri Airport transfer page for current prices and destination routes, or compare ASR with NAV on the Kayseri or Nevsehir Airport guide.
