The Sunset Hill viewpoint is one of the most-photographed spots in Cappadocia, and Panoramic Cave Hotel is located so close to it that the distinction between the two is roughly 80 vertical metres of path. From the terrace, the view takes in the same sweep of the Göreme valley — the rock formations, the cave church clusters, the landscape stretching toward the open plateau — that draws people to the hill.

Staff are knowledgeable about local logistics and tend to be helpful about timing: when to visit the Open Air Museum, which valley routes are currently passable, where to eat without a premium location tax.

From Kayseri Airport (ASR): approximately 70 minutes, accounting for the upper Göreme approach. From Nevşehir Airport (NAV): 40 minutes. Worth noting that luggage with wheels doesn't work on the last stretch of path.
